I’m Steve Dixon, after nearly three decades of leading transformative organisations, I’m stepping into a new chapter, one that builds on everything leadership has taught me about people, pressure and purpose.
I’ve launched Beyond Executive for leaders who’ve achieved remarkable success, yet find themselves asking a deeper question: What now?
You’ve surpassed your expectations, built the career, but the alignment, the energy, the meaning, they’ve shifted.
For 25 years, I grew Changes UK from a small idea into an award-winning national organisation with over 60 staff and major partnerships across the UK.
That journey taught me something most leadership books don’t say.
Leadership tests your inner world long before it tests your skills.
The pressure, the responsibility, the expectations, they shape you and if you’re not paying attention, they can erode the clarity and purpose that made you a leader in the first place.
My coaching is direct and grounded in lived experience. I challenge, but I also understand the strain leadership places on your wellbeing and your identity, I’ve carried it myself.
Beyond Executive is a space for leaders to think clearly, breathe again, reset, and reconnect with who they are beneath the title.
A space to strengthen the inner core that drives sustainable, authentic leadership, not just performance.
If you recognise yourself in this, or know someone who’s at that crossroads, I’d be honoured to talk.
No leader should have to carry the weight alone, especially the weight they’ve never had permission to speak about
From the outside, my career looked like success.
I had built businesses, led teams and delivered across multiple sectors. I knew how to create, grow and perform. But over time, the pressure built.
I reached a point of burnout that impacted my ability to lead effectively, and stepped back as a result.
That period forced me to reflect, reset and change how I think, make decisions and show up as a leader. It wasn’t about doing more. It was about thinking differently.
That experience is a big part of why I do this work today. I understand what it means to carry responsibility, to make decisions under pressure, and to keep going when there isn’t always space to step back.
